Fyodor Dostoyevsky lived a life filled with ups and downs.

After his mother’s death, Dostoyevsky left school to join the Nikolayev Military Engineering Institute.

He managed to create a lucrative career for himself as an engineer and enjoyed a side hustle translating books.
